Comparison
WAExport alternative for WhatsApp group number export.
Need a contact workbook or a conversation archive? Compare the documented WAExport scope with our narrower group-contact download before installing.
Compare a contact list with a chat archive
The WAExport Store item, ID dkjeihokhpllijnlmeoicnmaipohmjmi, describes chat-history export as well as contact and group-member tools. Checked October 15, 2026: its listing advertises conversation exports to HTML, Excel and CSV, with media requiring its Max plan and accessible source files. These are publisher claims, not our hands-on test.
Choose by the result you need
| Requirement | WAExport listing | Our workflow |
|---|---|---|
| Conversation archive | Advertises selected chats, dates and optional media. | Not a full chat-history or media exporter. Optional last-message context is not an archive. |
| Contact file | Advertises Excel, CSV and vCard contact/group-member output. | Native Excel workbook download. CSV requires a separate spreadsheet conversion; no vCard output in this workflow. |
| Restoration | Describes exported chats as local reading/analysis copies, not restorable conversations. | A contact spreadsheet is not a WhatsApp restore point or account backup. |
Our group workbook handoff
- Open WhatsApp Web in desktop Chrome and launch WA - Download Group Phone Numbers from the Chrome toolbar.
- Choose From groups, select an authorized group and available fields, then download an Excel (.xlsx) workbook.
- Check a sample of numbers and names, review duplicates and retain source context before sharing.
- If your destination needs CSV, review the selected worksheet in Excel and use Save As to create a CSV UTF-8 copy. Preserve phone numbers as text and test a small batch before import.
Our extension downloads a workbook, not a direct CSV file. Choose it for reviewed contact rows, not automatic messaging, CRM sync, complete chat history or hidden-data access. If a chat archive is essential, evaluate WAExport's current documented formats and limits instead of assuming a contact workbook can replace one.
Check purchase and privacy terms directly
This is not a reliability, privacy or price benchmark. Check the exact product, current checkout, access duration and data-handling terms before paying. See our plans and activation instructions, privacy and support. Export only contacts you are authorized to handle; a visible number is not marketing consent.
