A read-only way to get WhatsApp group members into Excel.
People search for a scraper or grabber when they need a group's member list as a spreadsheet. This extension exports what your own WhatsApp Web session already shows.
What it does and does not do
WA - Download Group Phone Numbers reads the members of a group you belong to from your signed-in WhatsApp Web session and writes them to an Excel (.xlsx) workbook, not a direct CSV file. It does not join groups, collect numbers from groups you are not in, reveal numbers hidden by privacy settings, or send messages.
Steps
- Install the extension in desktop Chrome and open WhatsApp Web.
- Open the extension panel, choose From groups and select one or more groups (or All groups).
- Tick the columns you need: phone number, country code, saved name, public display name, admin and saved-contact status.
- Download. The first 10 numbers are free; a plan unlocks the full list.
You can select several groups or All groups in one go; remove duplicates in Excel afterwards, since people often belong to more than one group.
Why read-only matters
Tools that combine scraping with bulk sending put your number at risk. Exporting for review, CRM preparation or record keeping is a different job from mass messaging, and only contacting people who agreed to hear from you keeps your account and reputation safe.
